Venue
For the majority of the time we play all of our games at Belmont School in Durham. There are a number of good reasons for using this venue as our base:
- Price - it's cheap!
- Location - it is fairly central, with easy access to A1(M) motorway and A690 for Durham City Centre
- Size - the pitch can handle 12-14 players
Occasionally the facilities are unavailable, when the playing surface is being repaired or other essential maintenance is taking place. If this work only affects 1 week then we have the choice of cancelling, or booking Meadowfield Sports Centre as an alternative.
Meadowfield is at least THREE TIMES more expensive than Belmont - and you can't have as many players!
